A Kickstarter-style all-or-nothing campaign, running right on your own product page. Hit the goal and the orders are already yours. Miss it and every backer is refunded in one click.
Flat $19/month. No per-order fees. No percentage of your raise.
You are charged now. If the goal is not met by March 30, you are automatically refunded.
No platform, no middleman, no percentage of your raise. Just a real campaign on the store you already have.
Pick a product, choose a goal in units or revenue, add an optional max cap, and set the date. Launch in a couple of minutes.
The widget shows live progress and a countdown, and tells buyers the truth: charged now, refunded automatically if the goal is missed.
Reach the goal and the orders are real, so go to production. Miss it and one click refunds every backer through Shopify.
Not a preorder button. A real campaign, with a goal, a deadline, and an honest promise, built into your product page.
Set a minimum goal. If enough people back it by the deadline, it goes to production. If not, Fundcap refunds every backer automatically. The mechanic no other Shopify app actually ships.
Progress bar, percent funded, backer count and countdown, in four polished styles with your accent color. It inherits your theme fonts and looks like it was always there. Try it live above.
Set a max cap alongside the goal: goes to production at 100, closes at 250. Sell exactly what you can make, never one unit more. No incumbent does both in one campaign.
No names, no mud. Just crowdfunding platforms, a typical Shopify preorder app, and Fundcap.

Fundcap takes no percentage of your raise and charges no per-order fee, ever. The price is the price.
When a campaign misses its goal and you refund everyone, most payment providers keep the processing fee on the original charge, usually around 3%. That is the real cost of the charge-now model, and it is why we tell you before your first campaign instead of after. We wrote the honest guide so you can decide with open eyes.

No per-order fees. No cut of your raise.
How is this different from a preorder app?
A preorder app just keeps selling a sold-out product. Fundcap adds the two things that make it a campaign: a goal that has to be met, and an automatic refund if it is not. Your buyers are backing something, not just waiting for stock. Here is the full difference.
When are my customers charged?
At checkout, like any normal order. If the campaign succeeds, nothing changes, the orders are real. If it fails, you run a one-click bulk refund and every backer gets their money back with an automatic email.
Will it slow down or break my theme?
No. Fundcap uses Shopify’s app-block system, so you add the widget in the theme editor with a couple of clicks, and uninstalling leaves nothing behind. The widget renders from data already on the page, so there is no extra load.
Do you touch my customers’ data?
We store no customer names, emails, or payment details. See the privacy policy. A real human answers support within 24 hours.
